[av_heading heading=’Jako již tradičně, i na podzimní NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference 2021 jsme dávali pozor a nyní vám přinášíme přehled toho nejzajímavějšího, co bylo představeno během virtuálních prezentací. Nejvíce nám udělaly radost přírůstky do rodiny akcelerátorů generace Ampere a to především akcelerátor A2, který je přímým nástupcem velmi oblíbených Tesla T4. Ohlášením karty NVIDIA A2 se na trh konečně dostává přímý nástupce téměř čtyři roky staré NVIDIA Tesla T4. Tato malá a úsporná karta v sobě skrývá překvapivě velký výkon vhodný především pro inference umělé inteligence. Po akcelerátorech A10 se jedná o druhou single slotovou kartu z generace Ampere, ve své velikosti ale nemá konkureci. Svým formátem HHHL, tedy poloviční šířka / poloviční délka a s nastavitelným TDP pouhých 40-60 W se hodí téměř do každého serveru.

Pokud jste si v průběhu konference GTC21 nestihli pustit úvodní slovo Jensena Huanga živě, můžete se na něj podívat alespoň ze záznamu na videu vpravo.

I tentokrát to nejdříve vypadalo, že přenos se bude opět odehrávat v Jensenově kuchyni a dokonce jsme nahlédli i dovnitř legendární trouby, ze které na GTC20 vytáhnul board s čerstvě upečenými kartami A100. Nakonec jsme toho viděli mnohem více a to včetně kalifornského sídla Nvidia v budově Endeavour.

V průběhu svého úvodního slova představil Jensen Huang svou malou virtuální kopii žertovně pojmenovanou Toy Jensen, která byla vytvořena na nové platformě Omniverse. Omniverse Avatar je platforma pro vývoj interaktivních avatarů s umělou inteligencí, která spojuje základní technologie NVIDIA AI – NVIDIA Riva pro umělou inteligenci řeči, NVIDIA Metropolis pro počítačové vidění, NVIDIA NeMo Megatron pro porozumění mluveného jazyka a NVIDIA Merlin pro vyhledávání nejvhodnějších odpovědí a doporučení. Využití by měla najít především v komunikaci ze zákazníkem v průběhu objednávky produktů či řešení uživatelských problémů.

Další součástí virtuálního vesmíru Omniverse je i takzvaný Omniverse Replicator, který dokáže simulovat přirozené fyzikální podmínky a poskytnout tak validní syntetická data pro trénování modelů umělé inteligence. Tento směr nalezne využití především v segmentu autonomních vozidel a robotiky. V Omniverse lze ale simulovat i extrémně komplexní systémy, jak dokazuje například možnost vytvoření reálného modelu produkčních továren či elektráren, klimatického obrazu určité oblasti a NVIDIA má dokonce v plánu vytvořit věrný digitální klon celé planety Země, který ponese název E-2 (Earth Two) neboli Země Dvě.

NVIDIA Omniverse je end-to-end platforma pro týmovou spolupráci a simulace, která přelomově transformuje složité pracovní postupy vývoje a návrhu. Jedná se o virtuální 3D svět, ve kterém můžete v reálné čase vzdáleně spolupracovat s ostatními členy týmu a snadno vytvářet složité, fyzicky přesné simulace, obrázky nebo videa. NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise umožňuje 3D produkčním týmům – které jsou často velké a geograficky rozptýlené – bezproblémově spolupracovat na složitých projektech. Spíše než komplikované domlouvání osobních setkání nebo výměnu a iteraci obrovských souborů, mohou designéři, umělci a testeři pracovat současně ve virtuálním světě odkudkoli a na jakémkoli zařízení.

NVIDIA oznámila další generaci své síťové platformy InfiniBand s názvem NVIDIA Quantum-2, která nabízí extrémní výkon (400Gbps), širokou dostupnost a silné zabezpečení, které využijí především poskytovatelé cloud computingu a superpočítačová centra. NVIDIA Quantum-2 je zatím ta nejpokročilejší end-to-end síťová platforma, která kdy byla postavena. Skládá se z přepínače NVIDIA Quantum-2, síťového adaptéru ConnectX-7, jednotky pro zpracování dat BlueField-3 ( DPU) a veškerého softwaru, který podporuje tuto novou architekturu.
